Deputy Marketing Manager

Job Description
  • Lead in brand guardianship for CTN and all its properties, ensuring the integrity and consistency of CTN as a leading media brand in Cambodia
  • Lead in the planning and execution of multi-platform marketing and promotional campaigns for CTN, its shows and dramas, and its TV and digital platforms – includes creation and distribution of PR and marketing materials and press releases, managing events, production and distribution of branded merchandise, and running multi-platform advertising and promotions in both traditional and non-traditional media (TV, print, digital, out-of-home, etc.)
  • Lead in the sourcing, creation and execution of marketing materials and activities by working closely and coordinating with other departments within CBS (including but not limited to Production, Program Department, Promo Department, Sales Department, and Web and Social Media Management Team), and by building and maintaining strong business relationships with external suppliers and service providers
  • Engage media outlets and companies into mutually beneficial media barter agreements with CTN, building and securing strong relationships with these media outlets and ensuring fulfillment of CTN commitments in all signed barter agreements
  • Work closely with Web and Social Media Management Team and assist in the creation and execution of social media and digital campaigns for CTN, its shows and dramas, and its TV and digital platforms
  • Assist CTN Head of Marketing in creating, building and implementing creative ways to integrate brands into programs and into CTN’s TV and digital platforms
  • Lead in the creation and implementation of (agency- and brand-facing) sales and marketing tools, materials and activities, working closely with CTN Head of Marketing and Sales Department to ensure adherence to brand standards
  • Take an active role in sourcing, researching and reviewing content for CTN’s digital platform and work closely with CTN’s digital platform team in building strategies and implementing creative executions
  • Regularly research and interpret viewer/user data and marketing trends and translate into actionable strategic plans for CTN’s TV and digital platforms
  • Write press releases and speeches as necessary
  • NOTE: This position is seeking a candidate who has the potential to eventually grow into the CTN Head of Marketing position

Job Requirement
  • Have BBA or MBA in Digital Marketing
  • Strong background and proven experience handling PR and marketing
  • Ideally with strong connections in various media outlets
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Hands-on work style / willing to get his/her hands dirty
  • Strong time management and work management skills
  • Self-starter and requires minimal supervision
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
