Sales Manager

Job Description

Business Development

  • To actively participate in networking opportunities in business community acting as the primary representative of the company
  • To co-define (Marketing Manager) and implement the marketing strategies
  • To identify prospects and opportunities within business community for the provision of services to customer’s businesses, with a focus on but not limited to the; manufacturing, financial and retail sectors
  • To provide a prospect action plans with financial target
  • To make initial contact, present company\\\'s services and facilitate communications between client prospects and company
  • To provide support in negotiating proposals with new customers
  • To provide support in negotiating contract renewals with selected customers
  • To be in charge of evaluation, promotion, quoting, securing and carrying out, invoicing, payment collection for projects assigned by the Management in order to achieve forecasted turn-over, time and quality frame
  • To report timely any important information, weekly sales report and contract and contacts database


  • To liaise functionally with Marketing Manager for coordination on strategy and handover of prospects
  • To provide support to marketing to develop such as market communications, presentations, brochures etc
  • To collaborate with Operation Manager

Ongoing specific projects key account

  • Continue to keep periodic relationship with customer
  • Try to develop the scope of services
  • Keep constant feedback and good communication with customer, with pro-active attitude
  • Pay attention to the “transfer” period following award of a contract with a new customer, together with Sales and Operation team

Project follow-up

  • Define client needs and convert them into service requirements and solutions
  • Assess interest of prospect leads compared to priorities of the sale strategy
  • Conduct surveys together with concerned operation team and follow-up proposal preparation
